Gods Holy Call to the child of God.
1st. God.
This means this call first starts with Him. When God calls you to something It is because
He already has something in mind that he wants to do on the earth and in your world.
When God calls you, it is because He has chosen you to be his willing vessel and chosen instrument to do it.
This is a privilege and honor given to you by The King of all kings and The Lord of all lords. God in Christ has chosen you to be his vessel.
Yes, you child of God are an honored and treasured vessel of His. And God wants to make you a vessel of Jesus and for Jesus. God wants to make you an instrument but not just an instrument His instrument.
Yes, God wants to make you an instrument and an instrument in the hands of God.
2nd. God Calls.
He Himself has already equipped you to do everything He has called you to do. This means when God calls you, He is not setting you up or sending you into the world unequipped. God called Moses and called him for service.
Why? There is something that God himself wanted to do on the earth and in Moses’ life. This thing that God wanted to do would not only bless and change Moses’ life,
but it would bless and change many other people’s lives as well. So, God called Moses for service and God will call you as well. This is because every one of us individually matters to God and is deeply loved and known by Him.
For no one is greater than the other and He has a great plan for us all! This plan of His not only includes us but it also includes others around us.
You see when we do things a lot of the times it’s for our own advancement and personal benefit. When God does something in your life, He blesses not only you but everyone around you and in your world. Also, when God calls you it is for his glory not yours.
For all the glory goes to him. You were created and saved for this very purpose. What purpose is that one may ask? You were made to glorify Jesus.
Remember you were made and saved to glorify Jesus.
For Just as God was with Moses your God will be with you. He has promised to never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Jesus said lo I will be with you always even unto the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).
3. God’s Call unto you is Holy.
Gods Call to you child of God is holy. If God has truly Called, you to do something it is your Holy assignment and there is nowhere in the whole universe that you can hide from Him.
Why is this one may ask? This is because He has truly called you to this and it is your personal Holy Assignment. I want to you to really focus on the fact that this assignment from God is Holy.
This is what you must understand people of God. Whatever it is that He has called you to and called you for, you must understand that it is nothing to take lightly and treat as a vain thing that you can just toss to the side. Whatever He has called you to do it is indeed Holy for it is coming from Him The Holy One.
Even though he calls you and equips you for whatever he’s calling you to do it’s still going to take faith on your part to step out on the water sort of speak and trust in The One who called you. Why is this one may ask? This is because God is The One who truly has called you and this Holy work is from God and of God, therefore this means this task of God is bigger than you, in fact for this to be done in your own strength is truly impossible. In fact, it can only be done by his grace through your faith, because in all human estimates and efforts it will be truly impossible to do in your own strength. The reason why God’s Call will be impossible for you to do on your own and in your own strength is done for 3 purposes.
1st. It will be impossible to do on your own and in your own strength because it is truly His work and is indeed from Him.
2nd. God makes it impossible on purpose in so that you will be forced to use only your faith in Him and not trust in yourself, your finances, your abilities, resources, and your own intelligence.
3rd. God makes it impossible on purpose in so that He alone will get the glory for (A) Him calling you and (B) He will get the glory before, during, and even after whatever He has called you to do will ultimately be completed. Therefore, you will know clearly that without God none of this would have been possible. When this happens God will get the glory and not you.
You see all our lives especially for the believer in Christ is for His glory. God is weaving together a master plan in the world and He includes you in his redemptive story (Ephesians 2:8-10).
God wants you to be a vessel that He can use in which He can reveal Christ in you and through you.
Dear believer in Christ whatever it is that God has called you to and equipped you for to do, the question is will you respond in faith believing by answering his call?
Do not look at This Call of God on your life as a challenge. First, don’t look at it that way because you can never do this by your own strength and intellect anyway.
However, don’t look at The call of God as a challenge from Him rather look at it as an invitation where God is asking you, and calling you to join him in His work.
Yes, to be a part of His redemptive story and plan. It is an invitation where God is calling you to use your faith. It is an invitation where God wants to take you on a journey with Him by The Person and Power of, He The Holy Spirit.
For the Bible declares not by power not by might but by My Spirit declares the Lord (Zechariah 4:6). In the same way this is how you are to humbly respond before your Holy God.
You are one who needs to say unto Him with a humble heart and spirit, Lord for it is not by might not by power that I will be able to do this that which you are calling me to do,
but it is by your grace that I will be able to accomplish this and most importantly it is By Your Spirit.
Faith moves the very heart of God. There is something very special about faith that makes The One True God of heaven take notice and places His hand of favor and grace on that individual. One reason The Lord loves, and values faith is because faith says unto him that you trust Him and that you are not putting your trust in yourself, your abilities, resources, and or your own works.
Our surrender to The Holy Spirit in the Great Name of Jesus brings Glory to God.
This means our surrender to The Holy Spirit helps us grow strong in our faith and in our walk with The Lord Jesus. Our surrender not only helps us grow strong in the Lord and in our most holy faith,
it also helps others this is because we are making ourselves available to God that He May use us as he sees fit. We are making ourselves available open vessels to God that he can use.
Christ can use us. Speak through us to shine his glory his gospel to others (2 Corinthians 5:14-21) (Isaiah 64:8) (Jeremiah 18:6).
In order to do God’s will you must lay down your own (Luke 9:23).
Our surrender is for his glory and our very surrender brings great glory to God.
